Prints for Lebanon

RIGHT NOW ALL ORDERS ARE CLOSED AND will not be processed. Thank you for your support and get in touch if you have any questions!

Hi There!

Project Print is a platform that sells prints to raise money for the Lebanese Red Cross and Egna Legna. This initiative started after the situation in Lebanon worsened on the 4th of August 2020 when the explosion in Beirut made over 300.000 people homeless. Hospitals got destroyed and thousands of people lost their job. All the proceeds (excluding the printing costs) will be equally divided between these two charities and hopefully will help as much people as possible in Lebanon.

All the designs seen on the prints are from Renaissance Renaissance, a fashion brand based in Beirut, Lebanon. If you’re not able to donate or buy a print, please share our project with your friends and family. Thank you!

WhERe will my donation go?

After receiving payment of your order we will only use a small part of this payment for the printing costs (depending on the size of the print). The rest of the money will be equally divided (50/50) between the Lebanese Red Cross and Egna Legna Besidet. For more information about these organizations, please check out their website at.

At the end of this fundraiser in January we will inform you on the total amount we’ve been able to raise through Project Print.

Since the 4th of August 2020 and until the 16th of August 2020, the LRC has provided the below-mentioned services for free to 28,000 individuals affected by the blast, in addition to providing the usual ambulance, blood and primary health services across all areas of Lebanon.

Treatment and transport of more than 2000 wounded.Evacuation of damaged hospitals.Distribution of more than 1200 blood units to hospitals.Setting up of shelters.Distribution of ready meals, food parcels & hygiene kits.

Egna Legna fights against the injustices of Kafala. Kafala is a sponsorship-based employment scheme used by many countries in the Middle East that allows one to work while their employer doubles as their sponsor, handling their visa and legal status, gender-based violence and the exploitation of adolescent labour.

Egna Legna focuses on educating women from Ethiopia on the dangers of traveling to Lebanon in order to dissuade them from coming and about the rights they have. After the explosion a lot of these women have been kicked onto the streets and have nowhere to go.

What is happening in Lebanon?

On the 4th of August 2020 a stockpile of 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate inexplicably left in Beirut port for several years caught fire and exploded, killing 200 people, wounding thousands more and damaging at least 70,000 homes and buildings.

Lebanon is also facing the worst economic crisis in history with a government that is 'taking a step back..'. To better understand what is going on please read the articles below.
